Our promise

Providing a Worry‑Free Experience

Worry free is not a feeling we hope you end up with. It is a set of conditions we put in place. The same crew standard at every field. The same documented procedure. A record of every service performed on your aircraft. A schedule that does not depend on anyone remembering. Once those are true, there is nothing left for you to manage.

Leave it with me.

Four words a team member says when an aircraft is handed over. It is the only promise we make, and we have been making it since 1991.

Our method

Aircraft paint is not automotive paint.

A finish system on an airframe is engineered thin, because weight is a design constraint. Beneath it sit epoxy primer and conversion coated aluminum or composite. Within inches of it sit acrylic windows that craze, elastomeric de‑ice boots, magnesium components and exposed sealant. None of them tolerate the same chemistry, and none of them forgive a shortcut. Treating an airframe like a car is how a repaint becomes necessary five years early.

Time, Agitation, Chemical, Temperature

Every cleaning process is governed by four variables, and they trade against one another. Lower one and you have to raise another.

T
Time
A
Agitation
C
Chemical
T
Temperature

On an aircraft you cannot raise agitation without taking finish that cannot be replaced. You cannot raise chemical strength or temperature without risking the substrate. That leaves time. Time is the variable a trained crew spends and an untrained crew cuts, and the difference does not show up on the invoice. It shows up three years later.

Products qualified for aviation, not adapted to it

We use cleaners that conform to Boeing BSS7432 and AMS 1526C, the specifications that establish a material will not damage an airframe. Two of them, Swype and Dend, come from a product company our ownership founded, because what we needed did not exist at the standard we wanted.

pH is not a detail

The pH scale is logarithmic. Every whole point is a factor of ten, so a cleaner at pH 10 is a thousand times more alkaline than water. Wool carpet, leather, veneer, acrylic and plated brightwork each have a different tolerance, and they sit within a few feet of one another in the same cabin. One product for all of them is a shortcut, not a method.

How we work

Technology

Every hour of training. Every service. Every tail.

We built our own platform, and our team members work inside it. Training records, inventory, scheduling, standard operating procedures, locations, client information and complete service history live in one place, at every base, in every country.

See the platform

  • Every team member’s training is current and provable, not assumed.
  • Every service performed on your aircraft is on record and retrievable.
  • Scheduling does not depend on anyone remembering.
  • The procedure at Teterboro is the procedure at Scottsdale.
  • You can look at your own history instead of asking us for it.

Common questions

Answers before you ask

What does The Allen Groupe do?

The Allen Groupe provides interior and exterior detailing, brightwork polishing, paint correction and protection, de-ice boot service, disinfection, delivery preparation and AOG response for corporate and private aircraft. We have been in business since 1991.

Where does The Allen Groupe operate?

Twenty-three airports across six US states, Toronto, and seven fields in Europe. Our AOG and mobile team members travel to any field in the country. Travel fees apply and are quoted before we go.

How long has The Allen Groupe been in business?

Since 1991.

Are your cleaning products approved for aircraft?

We use products that conform to Boeing BSS7432 and AMS 1526C, the specifications that establish a material will not damage an airframe. There is no such thing as an FAA approved cleaning product, and any company advertising one is describing something that does not exist.

Do you carry insurance?

Yes. General liability, hangarkeepers and commercial auto. A certificate is available on request.
