Services at this field
What we do here
Interior detailing
Cabin, cockpit, galley and lavatory. Leather, wool, veneer and suede, each treated to its own tolerance.
02Exterior detailing
Dry wash and wet wash, belly and exhaust soil, gear and gear wells, performed with aviation qualified chemistry.
03Paint correction and protection
Correction and sealing on a finish system that gives you one chance to get it right.
04Brightwork polishing
Bare metal, exhaust stacks and trim brought back and kept there.
05De-ice boot service
Stripping, cleaning and sealing of elastomeric boots, which fail early when treated like paint.
06Disinfection and disinsection
Two different services, often confused. We perform both, to the applicable guidance.
07AOG and quick turn
Mobile team members who reach any field in the country when the schedule does not allow for waiting.
08Delivery and acceptance prep
Presentation for handover, when the aircraft is being inspected by someone looking for reasons.
09Scheduled care programs
Recurring care built around your flight schedule rather than around ours.

What Westchester does to an aircraft
Winter is the main event, and it is worse here than the numbers suggest. From November through March the aircraft based at HPN live with de-icing fluid, road salt tracked onto the ramp, and repeated freeze-thaw cycling. Glycol residue is alkaline and it does not evaporate off a finish. It sits in seams, around fasteners and along the belly, and it keeps working.
De-ice boots take the worst of it. Boots are elastomeric, not painted. Cleaned with chemistry meant for paint, they harden and crack, and at a field that works them hard for five months a year that failure arrives early and expensively. Boot care here is maintenance, not an add-on.
Long Island Sound is four miles away. Westchester gets a genuine salt load off the water, which most people do not associate with a New York field. Salt plus winter road treatment is a harsher combination for exposed metal than either one alone.
Then the growth season. Spring pollen in the lower Hudson Valley is heavy, acidic and lands on every horizontal surface for weeks.
How we work at Westchester
HPN operates under a voluntary curfew and one of the more restrictive terminal use and slot programs in the country, which shapes when aircraft move and therefore when they can be worked. Full interior and exterior work is scheduled overnight so the aircraft is ready when the crew arrives.
Westchester is covered by team members working from our Northeast operation rather than a crew based at the field, so scheduled work is planned rather than same day. We will tell you what we can do and when instead of promising an hour we cannot hold.
Nearby fields we also cover
- Teterboro (TEB), roughly 30 miles.
- Philadelphia International (PHL) and Lehigh Valley International (ABE) from our Pennsylvania base.

Where else we are
Where we are not based, our AOG and mobile team members travel. Travel fees apply, and we will tell you what they are before we go.
Common questions
White Plains, NY, answered
Do you provide aircraft detailing at Westchester County Airport?
Yes. Interior and exterior detailing, brightwork, de-ice boot service, disinfection, quick turns and AOG response.
Why do de-ice boots need separate attention at HPN?
Because boots are elastomeric rather than painted, and chemistry meant for paint dries them out. At a field that works boots hard for five months a year, that shows up as early cracking and an expensive replacement.
Does salt really reach an aircraft at Westchester?
Yes. Long Island Sound is about four miles away and the field carries a real salt load, which most people do not associate with a New York airport. Combined with winter road treatment it is harder on exposed metal than either one alone.
Can you work overnight at HPN?
Yes, and that is when full interior and exterior work is scheduled. The curfew and slot program concentrate movements into the day, which leaves the overnight window open.
