Delivery and acceptance preparation
At delivery, the aircraft is being inspected by someone whose job is to find reasons. Presentation does not change the specification, but it sets the tone of the entire inspection, and an aircraft that arrives looking cared for is read differently from one that does not.
Detail
For OEMs and completion centers
Aircraft leaving a completion center carry the reputation of everyone who touched them. Delivery preparation is the last step and the one the customer actually sees. We work to a defined standard and a defined schedule so it is not the thing that slips.
For buyers and acceptance
On the buyer side, a properly prepared aircraft makes genuine defects visible instead of hiding them under grime. That is in the buyer's interest, and it is how we approach the work.
For pre-sale
An aircraft going to market is being photographed, shown and compared. What it looks like in those photographs is the first filter every buyer applies.

Common questions
Answers before you ask
Do you work with completion centers on delivery preparation?
Yes. Delivery preparation is a defined scope on a defined schedule, coordinated with the center rather than squeezed in at the end.
Does presentation matter in a pre-purchase inspection?
It does not change the specification or the logbooks, but it sets the tone of the inspection and it makes real defects visible rather than obscured.
