Aircraft detailing at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE)
The Allen Groupe is staffed across South Florida and covers Fort Lauderdale Executive, one of the busiest general aviation airports in the country and a core business aviation field for the Gold Coast. Interior and exterior detailing, brightwork, paint protection, disinfection, quick turns and AOG response, since 1991.
Services at this field
What we do here
Interior detailing
Cabin, cockpit, galley and lavatory. Leather, wool, veneer and suede, each treated to its own tolerance.
02Exterior detailing
Dry wash and wet wash, belly and exhaust soil, gear and gear wells, performed with aviation qualified chemistry.
03Paint correction and protection
Correction and sealing on a finish system that gives you one chance to get it right.
04Brightwork polishing
Bare metal, exhaust stacks and trim brought back and kept there.
05De-ice boot service
Stripping, cleaning and sealing of elastomeric boots, which fail early when treated like paint.
06Disinfection and disinsection
Two different services, often confused. We perform both, to the applicable guidance.
07AOG and quick turn
Mobile team members who reach any field in the country when the schedule does not allow for waiting.
08Delivery and acceptance prep
Presentation for handover, when the aircraft is being inspected by someone looking for reasons.
09Scheduled care programs
Recurring care built around your flight schedule rather than around ours.

What South Florida does to an aircraft
Salt is the whole story, and it does not wait for weather. An aircraft based in South Florida sits in a corrosive atmosphere every day it is outside. Salt settles, holds moisture against metal, and works into seams, fasteners and gear bays. On a coastal field, cleaning frequency is part of corrosion control rather than appearance, and the FAA has connected the two in published guidance for decades.
The sun is relentless and there is no off season. UV at this latitude chalks polyurethane, hardens elastomers, dries seals and fades cabin materials near the windows measurably faster than a northern field does. Protection here buys years, not shine.
Then the growth season and the storms. Afternoon convection through the summer puts water on the aircraft daily, pollen and organic fallout land on every horizontal surface, and hurricane season means an aircraft can go from clean to filthy in a single afternoon. Interval matters more here than almost anywhere we work.
How we work at Executive
FXE is dense. High movement counts on a compact field with a noise-sensitive surrounding community, which concentrates operations into the day and leaves the overnight window workable. That is where full interior and exterior jobs are scheduled.
Between legs we work to the time available and tell you what fits in it. A forty minute turn is a cabin reset, not a detail, and we will say so rather than doing a fast version of a bigger job.
South Florida is covered by one team across the whole corridor, from Naples and Miami to Stuart. That means the crew that works your aircraft at one field is the crew that works it at the next one, and the standard does not change because the airport did. Our office is at 1515 Perimeter Road in West Palm Beach.

Common questions
Fort Lauderdale, FL, answered
Do you provide aircraft detailing at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport?
Yes, and we are staffed across South Florida. Interior and exterior detailing, brightwork, paint protection, disinfection, quick turns and AOG response.
How often should an FXE based aircraft be washed?
On a coastal field, cleaning frequency is part of corrosion control rather than appearance, so the interval is shorter than most owners expect. We build the schedule around where the aircraft actually sits and how it is flown.
