Services at this field
What we do here
Interior detailing
Cabin, cockpit, galley and lavatory. Leather, wool, veneer and suede, each treated to its own tolerance.
02Exterior detailing
Dry wash and wet wash, belly and exhaust soil, gear and gear wells, performed with aviation qualified chemistry.
03Paint correction and protection
Correction and sealing on a finish system that gives you one chance to get it right.
04Brightwork polishing
Bare metal, exhaust stacks and trim brought back and kept there.
05De-ice boot service
Stripping, cleaning and sealing of elastomeric boots, which fail early when treated like paint.
06Disinfection and disinsection
Two different services, often confused. We perform both, to the applicable guidance.
07AOG and quick turn
Mobile team members who reach any field in the country when the schedule does not allow for waiting.
08Delivery and acceptance prep
Presentation for handover, when the aircraft is being inspected by someone looking for reasons.
09Scheduled care programs
Recurring care built around your flight schedule rather than around ours.

What the Lehigh Valley does to an aircraft
Winter runs the calendar. From November through March the aircraft here live with de-icing fluid, road salt tracked onto the ramp and repeated freeze-thaw cycling. Glycol residue is alkaline and it does not evaporate. It sits in seams, around fasteners and along the belly and keeps working.
De-ice boots are maintenance here, not an add-on. Boots are elastomeric, not painted, and chemistry meant for paint hardens them. At a field that works them for five months a year, that shows up as early cracking and a replacement bill nobody planned for.
The valley is an industrial and logistics corridor. Interstate 78 and a dense warehousing and freight network put a real hydrocarbon and particulate load into the air, and it settles on horizontal surfaces continuously.
Then spring. Heavy tree pollen through April and May on top of everything winter left behind.
How we work at Lehigh Valley
ABE is our Pennsylvania base, which is what makes coverage across the northeast corridor work. Our team is at the field, so scheduled work is planned around your flying and short notice work is realistic here in a way it is not at a field we travel to.
Nearby fields we also cover
- Philadelphia International (PHL), roughly 55 miles.
- Teterboro (TEB), roughly 70 miles.
- Westchester County (HPN).
- Reading Regional (RDG), Lancaster (LNS) and Harrisburg International (MDT).

Where else we are

Common questions
Allentown, PA, answered
Do you provide aircraft detailing at Lehigh Valley International Airport?
Yes, and it is our staffed base for the northeast corridor. Interior and exterior detailing, brightwork, de-ice boot service, paint protection, disinfection, quick turns and AOG response.
Why do de-ice boots need separate attention?
Because boots are elastomeric rather than painted, and chemistry meant for paint dries them out. At a field that works boots for five months a year, that shows up as early cracking and an expensive replacement.
What does de-icing fluid do to a finish if it is left on?
Glycol residue is alkaline and it does not evaporate off. It sits in seams, around fasteners and along the belly and keeps working, which is why post-season cleaning matters as much as in-season cleaning.
What other Pennsylvania and northeast airports do you cover?
Philadelphia International, Teterboro, Westchester County, Reading, Lancaster and Harrisburg.
