What North Texas does to an aircraft
McKinney carries the same climate load as the rest of the metroplex: spring severe weather and hail risk, summer ramp heat that bakes hard water onto a finish and shortens every dwell time, wind-carried dust, and a heavy pollen and insect season from March through May.
What is different is that McKinney is a growing field on the corporate side of the metroplex, with newer hangar capacity and a based fleet that skews toward aircraft that live indoors. Hangared aircraft have their own pattern. Less UV and less rain, but dust settles continuously and hangar floors put a grit load on the belly and gear that an outdoor aircraft simply washes off in the rain.
How we work at McKinney
Our team covers McKinney from our North Texas operation. Full interior and exterior work is scheduled overnight or around hangar availability. Between legs we work to the time available and say what fits in it.

Common questions
McKinney, TX, answered
Do you provide aircraft detailing at McKinney National Airport?
Yes. Interior and exterior detailing, brightwork, paint protection, disinfection, quick turns and AOG response, from our North Texas operation.
Does a hangared aircraft need less frequent care?
Less exterior work from weather, but not none. Dust settles continuously in a hangar, and hangar floors put a grit load on the belly and gear that an outdoor aircraft would otherwise wash off in the rain. The interval changes. The need does not disappear.
What other North Dallas airports do you cover?
Dallas Love Field, DFW, Addison and Denton Enterprise.
